EXPLANATION:
Here I am showing the example of what Sailor Pluto's appearance look like with the several colors. Because... I love Sailor Pluto since she is a beautiful time guardian. Only thing that truly irritated me about the color of Sailor Pluto's bow in most of old anime pictures I have seen is supposed to be brown, not dark maroon! If double colors on brooch and bows, it will likely hard time to find her brooch and pretty much likely to overlook it. :/
Cerise is a French word for Cherry.
Especially after she reincarnated, the brooch is originally suppose to be black, but in anime that they used dark red instead. -face palm- Just... no.
Since I mentioned it, there is having Sailor Pluto's brown bows in newer musical and manga that Naoko Takeuchi specifically noted. Yay!
About the time they made it right!

Just plain and simple brown color. Nothing more or less than just brown. It is a just right there!
Not even red-brown, dark maroon color (too match on brooch to overlook), or magenta in eternal form (very horrible colors in my own honest opinion, why? It does not match her personality and her color meanings).

And... in Sailor Moon Crystal, I am saying about that new episodes, "Finally! About the time! It shows actually brown color bows! She looks really lovely! They served it perfectly right for the first time!"
Yes... I am very happy to see it. I was so tired of seeing the horribly discolor on Sailor Pluto's bows color in many lousy pictures which they didn't color right from Naoko's artworks that she clearly noted! It is now no longer misleading color on Sailor Pluto!
And, Sailor Saturn got maroon bows! Yes! Finally! I love the artist who make it right~!
Planet Pluto's surface is actually having few brown shades with white heart shaped to represent her garnet orb!

i am so happy i found this, i have been so confused about pluto's colors, thank you for this!!
but what about eternal sailor pluto? i see a lot of people use the "maroon" from the anime, but in the artbooks it clearly looks to be a pink.. almost matching her garnet orb? i couldn't find anything on the true color for her eternal fuku..what is it really meant to be ? x.x
